During Seva Saptaha (17 th September to 23 rd September) organized by
Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik.

  1. a) TREE PLANTATION PROGRAMME

We have conducted Tree plantation Programme on 18/09/2022, IV BHMS students &Interns done planting in campus and at home.

 

  1. b) YOGA SESSION 19/9/22

As directed by Govt. Of Maharashthra, under this sevasaptah “YOGA SESSION” was conducted for 1 st BHMS Students in two batches on19/9/2021. Session was conducted by Dr. Shruti Datar&Dr.Shweta Kelkar. In this session suryanamaskars& asanas with Pranayams with its benefits were demonstrated to students. This Yoga session helped students to increase their awareness about Yoga and Fitness in general.

 

  1. c) CLEANLINESS AWARENESS CAMPAIGN – 20/9
  1. Cleanliness awareness campaign and organ donation rally was organized by the 2nd B.H.M.S students on 20 th Sept. 2022

Classrooms & campus was cleaned with the help of students & staff.
Students gave slogans related with cleanliness.
Importance of segregation of waste was discussed with students & person collecting garbage.

  1. d) ORGAN DONATION AWARENESS RALLY  20/9
  1. Organ donation  rally began from D.S.H.M.C. & walked through Karve Road.

Students gave slogans for Organ Donation & were holding banners to promote Organ Donation.

 

  1. e) ESSAY WRITING COMPETITION - on 21 st September 2022

essay writing competition was held on 21 st September 2022 for students of 1st BHMS. The topics for the essay competition were –
1) Contribution of Youth in development of India.
2) Role of Unsung heroes in freedom struggle of India.
3) Role of women in India’s Independence.
The language for essay writing was English and Marathi.
With  tremendous enthusiasm, response of 90 + essays were
Submitted.

The results for the competition are as follows-

2 nd Prize: Vaishnavi Dhamane
Consolation Prize: AnujaKarpe

ESSAY IN ENGLISH LANGUAGE-

Consolation Prize: Neha Paranjape

 

  1. f) ENVIRONMENTAL POLLUTION AWARENESS PROGRAMME - 21/09/2022

We have conducted Environmental Pollution Awareness Lecture on 21 /09/2022,
This Lecture was conducted for IV BHMS Students with the aim to make students aware regarding environmental pollution and how to Control it.
This Lecture was conducted by Dr.AafreenbanoKamuparande, Asst. Prof (community medicine dept)

 

  1. g) Lecture on Health & personal hygiene 23/9/22
  1. Lecture on Health & personal hygiene was organised

For young girls from orphanage mahila sevagram, karve road on
23/9/22. Lecture was conducted by Dr.Aafreenbano Kamuparande ( lecturer PSM dept ) , Dr Swati lakhe ( NMRMHH medical officer ) and Dr Anuja Gundi ( PG student )

  1. h) BLOOD DONATION CAMP
  1. BLOOD DONATION CAMP was organised by DSHMC and NMRMHH in collaboration with Ruby hall clinic  on 28/9/23

Staff and students participated actively.
