UG and PG courses are run by the institute.

MD (Hom) Course :-

Duration of the Course

The course shall be of three years duration, which shall include One year of House-job. Method of training shall be as prescribed in the syllabus. Any student admitted in MD ( Hom.) Degree Course can opt one of the subjects of specialty at the time of admission and he/she shall be awarded in that specialty. Post Graduate Degree in Homoeopathy shall be awarded in the specialty subjects as per Gazette Notification dated 29.01.2016.

Criteria of Maximum Time Limit for Passing of Course

Any candidate admitted in M.D. Homoeopathy (Regular) course must have to pass both examinations i.e. Part I and Part II University Examinations within time-period of Six years from the admission of the particular academic year. This shall be applicable for all students who have been admitted in the Academic Year  2016-17 and onwards.

Attendance

1.During Part I and Part II course of study, each student shall have attendance of at least 80% in Theory and Practical / Clinical Work separately.
2.For Non-clinical subjects, the student shall have to work in the concerned department of the hospital as per the instruction given by the Guide / HOD  & Head of the Institution. He/She has to complete houseman-ship in any department and need of the institution during his/her course.
3.During course of study of PG course (Part I and Part II), he/she shall maintain a Log Book with due certification, failing which hall tickets of such students shall be withheld by the Dean/Principal of the College and they shall not be allowed to appear for University Examinations.
4.The student who has taken admission for PG course needs to ensure that he / she has procured Certificate from the Principal/Head of the Institute /College about the completion  of the studies, Log Book is completed, attended National / State level Seminar and has conducted successful lectures at UG/PG teaching at the end of the course.

 

 

The student has to present case presentation, Journal club meeting and laboratory work and Homoeopathic industry visit (for Homoeopathy Pharmacy students) Apart from this the candidate is required to attach a Certificate of completion of Research Methodology Work Shop conducted by the University, failing which the student shall not be allowed to appear for the said examination.
5.He / She has submitted 6 months progress report of work.
6. He / She has submitted Synopsis of Dissertation work to the University within stipulated time

Examination

MD (Hom.) Part I Examinations which shall be held six months after completion of House Job of one year duration.
MD (Hom.) Part II Examinations which shall be conducted after one year and six months of Part I Examination.
