Organ donation day  aims to help people realise that volunteering to donate their organs after death can be life-changing for many. To underline the importance of organ donation various competitions were held in DSHMC to mark this day.
Various activities were conducted virtually on the occasion of “ ORGAN DONATION DAY ( 13/08/2021 ) ”. The students from both UG & PG sections participated in these activities and enjoyed doing these activities.
Activities were –
1. Essay Competition
2. Video clip making Competition
3. Drawing & painting competition.
4. Seminar on Organ Donation by Dr Sheetal Mahajani.
5. An Elocution Competition

The topic for the competition was – “ Importance Of The Organ Donation.”
The competition was co-ordinated by Dr. Swapnaja Nagale ( Gynaec & Obs Dept ), Dr. Smital Khidrapurkar ( PSM Dept ) & Dr Aditi Sethiya ( Org & Phil Dept ), Dr. Devyani ( Medicine dept, PG ) under the guidance of our Principal Dr. Mrs. Maneesha Solanki Madam.
Faculty members and students participated with great enthusiasm in this  Organ Donation Week virtual celebration.
